Bayan has been working for Colliers since 2006. Initially she managed an affiliated company of Locum Consulting in Kazakhstan – a subsidiary of Colliers International UK. In 2011 she became a Partner and Managing Director of Colliers franchised office in Kazakhstan. Bayan participated in over 500 projects, including Medeu-Shymbulak ski resort redevelopment, Aport Mall in Almaty, Akbulak Golf Resort, Astana EXPO-2017 and over one million sq.m. of mixed-use development in Kazakhstan. Bayan is an expert in the Kazakhstan real estate market and is responsible for growing the Colliers business in Kazakhstan. On a day-to-day basis, Bayan advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of property issues, feasibility studies and business and real estate opportunities for new entrants. Bayan is successfully bringing international real estate best practice and aligning it to the needs to the local market place. Her projects’ geographic coverage includes Kazakhstan and CIS.
Assel is responsible for development of the Colliers business in Kazakhstan. She is also involved in consultancy. Assel has a Masters in Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. In August 2010 Assel joined Colliers
International’s specialised Hotels team in London and in late 2012 re-joined Colliers Kazakhstan as Business Development
Assel is a very capable consultant with extensive project experience across the CIS countries, Georgia, Turkey, Singapore and Malaysia. Assel has been involved in consultancy work for a wide range of development projects including concept development, financial feasibilities as well as tourism potential assessment and visitor forecasting for a large scale, cross-border eco-tourism project in Singapore and Malaysia. She has also undertaken due diligence and preparation of an Investment Memorandum for a year round resort in Russia. Assel has also had experience in tenant/landlord representation as part of the office leasing service offered by the local office of Locum Consulting / Colliers International in Kazakhstan. Since joining Colliers International’s specialised Hotels team, Assel has worked on market and financial feasibility studies and valuations for hotels and resorts in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Scotland, the Netherlands and Turkey.
Ilya undertakes project management work across Kazakhstan and the CIS and he is an expert on the Kazakhstan project management and civil construction market. Ilya manages Project Management department in Colliers International Kazakhstan. He is also responsible for support and advisory of brokerage, retail and analytics departments in Colliers Kazakhstan.
Ilya took part in various projects in Kazakhstan and CIS, including: project management, design, construction and commissioning of Medeu-Shymbulak Ski Resort in Almaty; project management, design and commissioning of Esentai Tower in Almaty (87.000 sqm); project management, design, construction and commissioning of Esentai shopping Mall in Almaty (appr. 100.000 sqm); project management, design and commissioning of Esentai Residentials in Almaty (appr. 70.000 sqm); project management, design, construction and commissioning of AFD blocks A,B,C,D in Almaty (151.000 sqm); commissioning of Haileybury school in Almaty; head project management, design, construction and commissioning of Bosch office and warehouse building in Almaty (5.000 sqm); head project management, design and construction of St Regis 5+* hotel in Astana (62.000 sqm); commissioning of Ritz Carlton in Moscow.
Ekaterina undertakes research and consultancy work across Kazakhstan and the CIS and is an expert on the Kazakhstan property market. Katya has a strong interest in socio-economic trends and what they mean to the property market. Currently she is expanding the Company research data base and bringing international best practice property research to Kazakhstan and CIS markets. Katya took part in different projects in Kazakhstan, including: market research, concept development and financial estimations for 42 ha and 11 ha sites in Almaty; highest and best use analysis for a portfolio of 6 land plots in Almaty and 2 land plots in Astana; market research and analysis for golf & residential masterplanned community in Almaty; market research and analysis, property analysis for a number of valuation projects in Almaty, Astana and other cities of Kazakhstan.
